Announcement, Announcement

Some of my very favorite blogs share a few things in common. One of these things being a personal element, you know, things like family happenings, babies, dogs anything that could be categorized as warm and mushy.  So today I announce the introduction of my four legged +1. Her name is Elizabeth Grace. She is roughly 5 1/2 lbs. Do not let her small stature fool you, she is one tough cookie. She can hang with the big guys like its nobodies business. Literally! My amazing roommates have a 60 lb pit bull. Lizzy isn't phased. She'll jump in her big sisters mouth and bite her cheeks without a care in the world. Sometimes I call her Lizzard, she is a world class lizzard hunter. Our housekeeper at home associates names with famous people and thus has taken to calling her Elizabeth Taylor or just Taylor. I am positive she has never watched an episode of SATC in her life, unless of course they've recently starting playing a translated version on Telemundo. Fate. Liz is my cuddle buddy when no one else is there.  Coming soon, some of our adventures in puppy land, because with this little one and her large and in charge sis it's never a dull moment.
oh I love my lizzard sooooo much, she can always make me smile.

Hip Hip Hooray!

Quickie today, hehe

Finished my Country Living inventory. so proud of myself, it actually wasn't even half as bad as I thought it would be. Hardest part was lugging everything back upstairs to its rightful spot under the bed and out of eye sight. maybe took 30 mins max! I used a spreadsheet courtesy of iWork and things just sped along from there. The good news is my hoard isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. I might even tackle inventorying my Southern Living and BHG collection as well!

P.S Happy St. Patty's day- hope everyones wearing green! I leave you with this awesome bow/clip from bethanylorelle via etsy. yes please!

Gifting

Graduation is right around the corner. Dear Lord, I never thought I'd see the day! So, naturally an occasion as significant as this deserves a proper celebration. Hold the party, mom and dad. However, I will gladly accept any and all gifts marked to culminate the joyous day!  Needless to say I've started a wish list with pro's and con's for each. Maybe you all would like to help me decide? Although my parents are very kind and generous to me, there is ZERO chance I'll be receiving everything my heart desires. Realistically, I'm looking at one present. (blah blah blah recession, no truly I'd be grateful to receive anything let alone one of my slightly ludicrous picks. Thus I MUST pick the perfect one!

The contenders: DSLR Cannon or Nikon Camera, Cartier LOVE bracelet, two-tone women's slim Rolex, any other suggestions out there? Just to set the record straight love bracelet and rolex would be as I like to call "vintage". Sounds so much more chic than used! Pictures and pro and con break downs to follow. It's spring break people I should be outside in the sun!

Jewelry Jones'n

I'm typically not one to get all dolled up often but when the time comes who doesn't love something beautiful to accessorize with? Here's a few pieces that caught my attention from Gilt's Kenneth Jay Lane sale that started yesterday. Unfortunately I was hardly the only person to notice how fabulous they are, as all piece are now sold out at the discounted price. (sad face, bummer) Oh well. It still makes me smile looking at them.

Behold the beauty...
Side note: It's funny because I honestly wear the SAME EXACT earrings every day. A pair of diamond studs pasted on to me from my darling mommy as a gift for high school graduation. The only time I take them off is to clean them, and less frequently than one's suppose to at that. Looks like I'm ready for a new pair of big girl earrings!

Sooo pretty a hint of old hollywood glam,
and miami art decoall in one, perfection!
Totally could have seen these babies being
used on the SATC 2 set.

These belong on a Greek goddess or an Indian
princess!

More art deco wonderfulness! Imagen with just
a simple white or grey tee jeans? Fabulous.
Love the contrasting color in these puppies.
one word: gorgeous!
